Conversion & Reputation / Website Personalization
One website. The right version for every visitor.
A visitor who clicked your emergency-repair ad and a past customer browsing your services shouldn't see the same page. Personalization shows each one the headline, proof, and next step built for them — and the same traffic converts better for it.
What's included in Website Personalization
Ad-to-page message match
The fastest conversion killer is a page that doesn't repeat the promise of the ad that was clicked. Dynamic text — page headlines that swap to mirror the ad or search term that brought the visitor — keeps the promise from the first second. The visitor reads exactly what they came for.
What ships
- Headline and offer variants matched to your campaigns and keywords
- Dedicated variants for the ad groups with enough volume to justify them
- Consistency checks so ad copy and page copy never contradict each other
Location-aware pages
A visitor in Pasadena shouldn't read a vague pitch about the greater metro area. Pages that name the visitor's city, show the right service area, and route to the right contact convert like a local business — because they read like one.
What ships
- Headlines and content that name the visitor's area
- Service-area pages wired into the same personalization system
- Location-based call and booking routing where your business has it
New, returning, and known visitors
A first-time visitor needs proof you're real; a returning one needs a reason to act now; a past customer clicking through from your own email needs neither — just the shortest path to booking again. Each gets a page that respects where they are.
What ships
- Proof-forward layouts for first-time visitors
- Returning-visitor calls to action that skip the introductions
- Tailored variants for visitors arriving from your own emails and texts
Built on data visitors actually give
Personalization here runs on signals the visitor hands you: the ad they clicked, the search they made, their rough location, their previous visits to your site. No purchased identity data, no creepy cross-site profiles — just paying attention to what they already told you.
What ships
- First-party setup — built on your site's own signals, nothing bought
- Configuration that works with your privacy policy and cookie consent
- Everything wired into the same tracking as the rest of your CRO
Measured like everything else
Every personalized variant runs against the default page, and it only stays if it wins. No mystery rules, no set-and-forget — a monthly keep-or-kill decision on every variant, backed by numbers.
What ships
- Variant-versus-baseline conversion reporting
- Monthly keep, kill, or expand decisions on every variant
- A plain-English log of what's personalized, for whom, and why
How it works
Map the segments
We look at where your traffic comes from and which visitor groups arrive wanting different things — ad clickers, locals, returners, past customers. Only segments big enough to matter make the list.
Build the variants
Message-matched and location-aware variants ship in the first weeks. You see and approve every version before it goes live, and the default page stays untouched as the control.
Measure and expand
Variants run against the default. Winners spread to more pages and segments; losers retire. The monthly report shows every variant's scorecard.
Why Spec Social for website personalization
A generic page talks to everyone and convinces no one. You already paid for relevance — the ad targeting, the local SEO, the email send that brought each visitor in. Personalization is how the page itself stops throwing that relevance away in the last step before the sale.
We can do this properly because we run the whole pipeline: the ads, the emails, the pages, and the tracking. We know what each visitor was promised before they landed, so the page can keep that promise. An agency that only touches the website personalizes blind.
One honest caveat: personalization multiplies a page that already converts — it doesn't rescue one that doesn't. If your base pages leak, we fix those first and tell you so on the discovery call, because five variants of a broken page are just five broken pages.
Pricing
Website personalization is included in retainers from $2,500 a month — scoped to your traffic and segments on the discovery call.
- Month to month.
- Your default page stays intact — every variant is reversible.
- You own every variant, rule, and report.
Questions, answered.
What is website personalization?
It's showing different visitors different versions of your pages based on what's known about them — the ad or search that brought them, their location, whether they've visited before. Instead of one page trying to talk to everyone, each visitor group gets the headline, proof, and next step built for them.
Is this the creepy kind of tracking?
No. Everything runs on signals visitors hand you directly: the link they clicked, the search they made, rough location, prior visits to your own site. No purchased personal data, no cross-site profiles. The setup works with your privacy policy and cookie consent rather than around them.
How is personalization different from A/B testing?
A/B testing finds the single best page for everyone; personalization accepts there isn't one and shows each visitor group the version built for it. They run together: testing improves the default, personalization layers the right variant on top — and every variant is itself tested against that default.
Do I need a lot of traffic for this to work?
It helps, because each segment needs enough visitors to measure. With lower volume we start with the highest-contrast splits — ad visitors versus everyone else, in-area versus out — where differences show up fastest. If your traffic can't support it yet, we say so and start with CRO fundamentals instead.
Can you guarantee personalization will lift conversions?
No — and no one honest can, because some variants lose. What we control is the discipline: every variant runs against the default page, only winners stay, and the monthly report shows each one's numbers. You never have to take it on faith that personalization is paying for itself.
How much does website personalization cost?
It's included in Spec Social retainers, which start at $2,500 a month. The exact number depends on your traffic, the segments worth building for, and what else the retainer covers — you'll have it by the end of the discovery call.
