Conversion & Reputation / Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

The cheapest new customer is already on your site.

Doubling your conversion rate costs less than doubling your traffic. We wire tracking to every click, call, and booking, find the exact step where visitors quit, and test your pages against better versions until the numbers pick a winner.

What's included in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

01

Tracking on every click, call, and booking

You can't fix a leak you can't see. Before anything gets tested, every conversion on your site — calls, forms, bookings, purchases — gets traced back to the page and the source that produced it. From day one, what's working is a number, not a guess.

What ships

  • Call tracking tied to the page and campaign that made the phone ring
  • Form, booking, and purchase tracking wired end to end
  • A baseline report showing exactly where visitors drop off today
02

A/B testing program

A/B testing means two versions of a page run side by side — different headline, offer, or layout — and real visitors decide which one wins. We run your important pages against challengers on a monthly cadence, so the site keeps getting better instead of staying frozen at launch.

What ships

  • A test queue prioritized by traffic and revenue impact
  • Headline, offer, and layout variants built and shipped for you
  • A results log: every test, which version won, and why it stayed
03

Form and booking friction removal

Most lost customers don't object to your price — they quit at a form that asks too much or a booking flow with one step too many. We find every field, click, and pause that makes visitors give up, and take it out.

What ships

  • Forms cut down to the fields you actually need
  • Booking flows reduced to the fewest possible steps
  • Click-to-call and persistent contact buttons on mobile
04

Page speed and mobile fixes

A slow page loses buyers before they read a word, and most of your visitors are on a phone. We fix what drags — oversized images, bloated scripts, slow servers — and check every money page the way a customer actually sees it: on a mobile screen, on a mediocre connection.

What ships

  • Core Web Vitals fixes — Google's own speed and stability scores
  • Image, script, and server-level performance work
  • Mobile-first review of every page that earns revenue
05

Monthly testing cadence and reporting

CRO isn't a one-time audit — it's a habit. New tests go up every month, winners become the permanent page, and losers get replaced with the next idea. Your report shows all of it in plain English.

What ships

  • A monthly report: tests run, winners shipped, conversion movement by page
  • Next month's test queue, with the reasoning behind it
  • A running record of every change, so nothing on your site is a mystery

How it works

01

Baseline

Tracking goes on every click, call, and booking. We find where visitors quit today and write up the first list of friction — the obvious fixes and the things worth testing.

02

Test

The first fixes and the first tests ship within weeks. Nothing goes live without your approval, and any change can be rolled back.

03

Compound

Every month: winners stay, losers get replaced, and the next round goes up. Each win raises the floor — the gains stack instead of resetting.

Why Spec Social for CRO

When a month goes quiet, most businesses buy more traffic — and pour it into the same leaking page. CRO fixes the page first, which makes every other channel pay better: the same ad budget, the same rankings, the same social posts, all producing more customers because more visitors get through.

We run the ads, build the landing pages, write the copy, and own the tracking — under one roof. That matters in CRO more than anywhere, because most testing programs die in the gap between the agency that has the idea and the developer who has to ship it. Here, the team testing your page is the team that built it and the team sending it traffic.

And we're honest about what testing takes: fixes ship in weeks, but a statistically solid test verdict takes traffic and time. On lower-traffic sites we say so up front — and run prioritized friction fixes with before-and-after measurement instead of pretending a hundred visitors is a sample size.

Pricing

CRO is included in retainers from $2,500 a month — scoped to your traffic and pages on the discovery call.

  • Month to month.
  • Nothing ships without your approval, and every change can be rolled back.
  • You own the tracking, the data, and every winning page.

Questions, answered.

What is conversion rate optimization?

Conversion rate optimization (CRO) is the work of turning more of your existing visitors into customers — by tracking where they drop off, removing the friction that stops them, and testing pages against improved versions until the better one wins. Traffic work gets people to your site; CRO decides what happens after they arrive.

How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?

Real split tests need enough visitors for the numbers to mean something — usually a few thousand visits to the tested page. If your site is below that, we tell you, and run a different play: fixing known friction patterns in priority order and measuring before-and-after instead of running tests that could never reach a verdict.

Will you change my site without asking?

No. You see every test before it runs and every change before it ships. Once you trust the process, most clients approve in batches — but the approval step never disappears unless you remove it, and everything can be rolled back.

Can you guarantee my conversion rate will go up?

No — and no one honest can, because some tests lose and every site starts from a different place. What we control: tracking that tells the truth, a testing cadence that never stops, and the discipline to keep winners and kill losers. Over months, that process is what moves the number.

How long until CRO shows results?

Tracking and the first friction fixes ship in the first weeks — things like faster pages and shorter forms can move numbers quickly. Test verdicts take longer because they need traffic to accumulate. Your monthly report separates what's shipped from what's still collecting data, so you always know which is which.

How much does CRO cost?

It's included in Spec Social retainers, which start at $2,500 a month. The exact number depends on your traffic, how many pages we're testing, and what else the retainer covers — you'll have it by the end of the discovery call.
